In a bid to promote unity and peaceful coexistence, Senator Johnson Sakaja has called on Kenya Kwanza leaders to respect President William Ruto's decision to initiate dialogue talks. He emphasized the importance of allowing the talks to proceed without preconditions or restrictions.
Speaking during a press conference, Sakaja stressed the significance of these discussions in addressing the current political climate and fostering a peaceful atmosphere. He urged leaders affiliated with the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and Kenya Kwanza parties to put aside their differences and fully support the dialogue process.
"I want to ask our UDA and Kenya Kwanza leaders to please allow the talks to go on instead of appearing to condition on what to do or what to allow," Sakaja stated. He emphasized that the success of these talks relied heavily on the cooperation and genuine participation of all political leaders.
